“It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of Malcome MacIvers, son of Robert MacIver (deceased) and Dorothy Margaret Campbell, at home in McKinney, Texas. Left behind to grieve are his loving wife, Rosemary; children Colin Campbell and Ileagh MacIvers; his grandchildren, Andrew and Sophie Campbell; nephews-adopted sons, William and Steven Ho; his mother Dorothy; and sisters, Karen Cudmore and Joan Campbell. Originally from Canada, Malcome and his wife Rosemary moved to Texas where they lived until his passing. Malcome will be especially remembered for his special gift as a raconteur and his incredible memory for detail. On his infrequent visits back to Ontario, he kept the family entertained with his reminiscences of growing up in Oakville in the ‘50’s. Malcome had a life-long interest in the Campbell family history, the military, and cars. He could be counted on for an expert opinion on anything he had turned his mind to. Services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Christ Church, 4550 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX. Malcome will be interned at the historic Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas at a private burial. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations via their website: https://www.gofundme.com/malcome.”
